Joker Design

Clothing and character design practice with The Joker. I’m especially happy with my coat design; I love when designers emphasize the jester/ clown elements of the character. I really liked the idea of adding bells to the jacket; imagine walking down a dark Gotham street and hearing the ominous, soft jingle of bells accompanied by manic laughter. I kept the clown makeup subtle yet stylish since the outfit is flashy enough. Additionally, Sean Gordon Murphy's innovative choice of Joker having heterochromia was a big inspiration to me and a headcanon that I have adopted in some of my other Joker artworks.
