Batgirl- Taking The Dive

Batgirl fan art that I used as a way to practice anatomy and color play. I personally like her classic suit more, but I wanted to pay homage to her new suit through the colors of the city behind her. Making sure her proportions were accurate to real life was one of my main challenges as well as capturing the pose that a real diver would make as they leap into the water. Additionally, I wanted her cape to have a flowing, dynamic shape to frame her body and emphasize the speed at which she was falling.
