The Bat and The Bird

Wanted to do a comic cover paying homage to real bats and robins. Really wanted to focus on the different textures of the animals. Additionally, I wanted the background to emphasize the different attitudes of our heroes; Robin’s sunny optimism vs Batman’s dark stoicism.
